Dazhbog ensemble

Dazhbog is an old Slavic god, the son of supreme god Svarog, brings Sun and wealth.

DAZHBOG Ensemble is an ambitious project with a sincere and original core. Its sound is based on a rich and diverse rhythm of percussion instruments, an inspiring and energizing sound of the flamenco guitar as well as magical Macedonian instruments. Its inspiration stems from a magnitude of traditions ranging from flamenco to traditional music of the Balkans, the Arabic world, Africa and India - a feature profoundly developed by individual members for many years. All this is integrated into a contemporary expression mixed with jazz and features of contemporary classical music. Above all, there is a sense of timelessness and enthusiasm.
