Zlatko Kaučič je svojo lansko dvojno obletnico (55. rojstni dan in 30 let delovanja) praznoval delavno in v istem tempu nadaljeval. V zadnjih letih neutrudno niza sodelovanja z najvidnejšimi svetovnimi glasbeniki, kot so Peter Brötzmann, Balanescu Quartet, Saadet Türköz in Louis Sclavis. Poliritmični in pretanjeni slog poetično barva z nenavadnim inštrumentarijem (igrače, posode, piščali in podobno). Parkerjevo tehniko krasita prodoren ton in obvladanje krožnega dihanja, s katerim ustvarja večplastne, zankaste skladbe.

In 2008, Zlatko Kaučič celebrated his dual anniversary (55th birthday and 30 years of creativity) in a working spirit, refusing to stop and ponder over it. Recently, he has indefatigably shared the stage with some of the frontmost world artists, including Peter Brötzmann, the Balanescu Quartet, Saadet Türköz and Louis Sclavis. Kaučič poetically tinges his polyrhythmic and intricate style with an uncommon motley of instruments (toys, dishes, whistles, etc.). This time, he will engage in a ‘sonic match’ with Evan Parker. A British free jazz veteran, Parker has been involved in jazz since 1960s, when he contributed to the epochal Brötzmann’s album, Machine Gun, and has among others worked with the Schlippenbach Trio. With the incisive tone of his pronounced solo saxophone voice, Parker uses circular breathing to create complex and overlapping sound.
